“To Fall Apart” is a text about descending into something that is difficult to put into words — yet felt throughout the entire body, altering what one once believed. An inner collapse, where something breaks. It is about losing your grip, searching for relief, doubting everything — but also about how hope can slowly return.

Have you ever felt the feeling of
Falling apart
If so then you know the feeling of
Falling in the dark
Everything goes dark
Your mind spins
And you find yourself reading
About frightening diagnoses
Turning to self-medication
Becomes an escape from
The overwhelming fear of
Catastrophes
Alcohol and pills seem to help
For the time being
But you begin to doubt your
Survival when the foundation is
Destroyed by irrational feelings
You stand in front of the mirror
Staring with empty eyes
It doesn’t feel like the day of
Tomorrow will bring any surprise
Everyday life begins to falter and
It becomes harder to explain
Why you have started missing
Calls which you were always so
Careful to sustain
You can feel yourself pulling
Away and if you see
Someone you know
You simply choose to take
Another way
You have started talking to the
Doctor and the psychologist
About your situation
Could it be some kind of life
Crisis or maybe a broken relation
Could it be the stress that haunts
Or maybe a pressured situation
Some say it’s called life and that it
Soon comes to an end
But those words wont help you
Not even if you try to pretend
There are many words for
Breaking apart
Yes there are many ways for a
Man a human to fall apart
Your thoughts begin to slow down
And you regain hope
It feels like you have taken the
Tram and finally reached
The last stop
For no apparent reason it feels
Like now the puzzle has been
Solved and you are finally
Finally starting to recognize
Yourself again
